Wade Kluske, involved in the racing industry for 15 years and a committee member for the past five, utilizes his extensive travel with Woolworths to enhance Strathalbyn Racing Club's growth, infrastructure, and future success.

Stephen Smedley, involved in the racing industry since 1966 and a board member of the Strathalbyn Racing Club for the past three years, believes in the importance of active membership and has successfully introduced the 'Early Bird Membership' initiative to grow and retain club members.

David Kittel, actively involved in racing for 40 years, has held roles such as President of the Wangaratta Turf Club and Director on the Country Racing Board of Victoria, while also owning various businesses and farms in Victoria.

Gabrielle Cahill, a passionate racing enthusiast with 30 years of managerial experience in the Department of Health and extensive involvement in local clubs, enjoys her role as a proactive board member at Strathalbyn Race Club, contributing to its ongoing success and growth.

Geoff Wood, following 12 years with SAPOL, managed a Family Trust Hotel in Adelaide and then took on senior roles  overseeing large clubs, hotels, and a resort. Recently, as GM of the Alyangula Recreation Club, he supported Gemco Mining’s operations. Geoff has received multiple awards, including NT Club Manager of the Year and Best Developed Licensed Premise. A horse racing enthusiast having also served on the boards local Racing Clubs.

Ian Johnson, with a background in sailing, yacht brokerage, and purchasing, has recently joined the board of directors at the Strathalbyn Racing Club, where he is excited to collaborate with fellow members and CEO Trevor Taylor to enhance the club's prominence in South Australian country racing.

Michael Sparrow, a regular race attendee and part-owner of several horses, is enthusiastic about the Strathalbyn Racing Club and seeks to give back to the racing industry by leveraging his extensive experience in senior business and operational management roles across retail, manufacturing, and wholesale sectors.

Rosalie Moody has been actively involved in the racing industry across South Australia and the Northern Territory, with experience as a racehorse owner and supporting her family’s training activities. With a professional background in health management, nursing, WHS, and infection control, she brings strong board and committee experience. Passionate about promoting the industry, Rosalie has organized events like Ladies Day Luncheons and fashion parades, supporting local businesses and fostering new membership and innovation within her club.

Trevor Barker, pleased to represent the Strathalbyn Racing Club as a board member, brings extensive experience from his careers as a police officer, hotel industry senior manager, and hospitality training consultant, aiming to support the board and enhance the racing experience for members, stakeholders, patrons, and sponsors.
